My Granddaughter and Achilles. And you're probably wondering "Why is Achilles still here"? Achilles is a security dog. You cannot just drop him off at his new home. It takes week, or maybe months, to build his trust and relationship with his new owner. He was bred to be on alert and suspicious of strangers. The transition is going very well. Each time he sees them he is more relaxed and less "on guard". It will take a full 3 months once he has moved in with them to completely bond.
