Miss Joy needs a Forever Home!

I thought Miss Joy had been sold but it fell through at the last minute.  Her brother Noel has gone to Manitoba and her sister, Merry, has headed off to Grand Prairie!

Joy is 13 weeks old,  and is incredibly sweet.  She would be perfect as a family dog or seniors dog.  She has enough energy to go for walks and hikes but will also lay down by the fire when the time comes.  She could be suitable as a Search and Rescue dog or a therapy dog depending on the training.  She will guard but would not be suitable as a police dog as she doesn't have the aggression needed.  I've been breeding in courage but breeding out aggression for 5 generations now and it's worked wonderfully well for me.    Her price is $3000.  $500 less the the normal price to help with the situation of the day.  If you've been thinking about getting a Guardian Angel Shepherd, now is the time to do it!  Families are home and what better way to cheer everyone up than to purchase a puppy!  If you are interested in Joy, please email me at k9trainer@dogwhisperer.ca. There's only one puppy left, so don't delay or you will be disappointed.

Video didn't want to cooperate so here it is on YouTube!

Crates are not cages (when used properly)

As with anything there is a possibility that crates can be mid-used. However, if introduced as a den and not a cage, dogs enjoy the safety and sanctuary of a crate.

Achilles - Arrived at the Rainbow Bridge

It is with heavy heart I must tell you that Achilles made his journey to the Rainbow Bridge on Feb. 27th, 2020.

He had a wonderful life, starting with a cowboy who took him to events all over Western Canada where he met many people, dogs and horses!  Unfortunately he found his way home to me after several years due to illness in the family.  I had him here for quite awhile and became very attached to him.  He was headstrong, big and brave and I knew he needed just the right family that could handle him.  I finally found just the right one 2.5 years ago.  It took awhile to transfer his loyalties from me to the new family.  Many hours of driving to their place and many trips which included lessons to help Achilles transition.  At one point they even brought him back saying he was too much for them to handle.  But after leaving him here, their hearts had already fallen in love with him and they came back for him.  Achilles was a "one-man" dog.  His loyalty had to come on his terms.  But once you had it, it was yours for life.  He would die for you.  His new family loved him with all their hearts and are devastated at his loss.  God's speed to you my friend.  Until we meet again.

Gypsy turned one year old!  Where does the time go!  I've had several people send me in birthday shots of their puppies.  Thank you!  They are all looking great!   I will try and do a "birthday shoot" and put them up on the blog in a few days.  So if you have birthday photos of your dogs, be sure to send them so they can be part of the fun!  I always love hearing how everyone is doing!
