Whelping time: 09:45-18:45

Almost 48 hrs old and all have gained weight so far.

I live in

I live in a small, 70 year old farmhouse. Approximately 60% of my kitchen floor always seems inaccessible to me. This is why!

I'm so incredibly sad and disappointed. 8-(

After four years of looking for a stud dog to replace Merlin (in my breeding program, not my heart) the puppy I had picked from Czechoslovakia was not born.  The litter produced all females, no males.  😞

FOUR years!  I was so EXCITED to finally find a dog worthy of adding to my bloodlines.  It is so incredibly disappointing.  I wasn't sure how I'd get the puppy into Canada considering the closed border but I figured I could find some way to do it.  But now I don't have to worry about it anymore.  I can't use the word devastated but it's awfully close.  I don't even want to talk about it right now...

WE ARE PREGNANT!

Great news for everyone on the waiting list for the June 2020 litter!  Nova had her ultrasound this afternoon and she's going to be a Mom!  Can't wait until those cute little rascals get here!

As you can see, Nova has a mind of her own!  Always pushing, always testing.  She is a high energy, high drive German Shepherd who came directly from Belgium.  And she's exactly what I wanted!  Breed high energy, high drive (Nova) to a low energy cuddle bum (Tazer) and you come up with the perfect combination of puppies.  This is a repeat litter so I know the pups are going to turn out fantastic!  Those of you on the list are extremely lucky!  I have an incredible amount of people who would love to be in your shoes!  Of the 6 deposits I took, 3 pups are going to previous Guardian Angel Family members (so this is their second "Angel"), 2 pups are going to new families and one is going to a policeman in the San Francisco Police Department as a scent (bomb/drug) dog.
